The adventurer cautiously stepped forward into the ancient ruins, the heavy stone door grinding shut behind them with a final, echoing thud. A single torch flickered to life on the far wall, its weak light revealing a long corridor stretching into darkness. From the shadows, a low growl rumbled, and two glowing red eyes blinked open. The hero’s hand flew to the sword at their hip. → → → The creature emerged, a monstrous beast with scales like polished obsidian, and charged. ← The adventurer sidestepped the lunge, the wind from the monster’s passing rustling their cloak. → → Drawing the blade in a swift, practiced motion, they stood ready for the next attack. The beast skidded on the stone floor, turning with a furious roar, and prepared to strike again.
