You vs uoY is structured around a series of levels where player agility and effectiveness are paramount, with every action having a direct influence on the entire game. The core mechanics depend entirely on the directional choices made by the player to navigate each stage, bouncing off various objects throughout the levels while striving to be as agile as possible to maneuver the character toward the endpoint that completes the level. The central concept revolves around challenging maps filled with obstacles that complicate the path to the “portal,” where each decision about shooting direction carries significant consequences.
