Poppy Playtime plunges players into a chilling survival-horror experience set within the decaying halls of a long-abandoned toy factory. A decade after the facility’s workforce mysteriously vanished, you return as a former Playtime Co. employee, forced to confront vengeful toys lurking in the shadows. Armed with the GrabPack—a versatile tool for manipulating circuits and retrieving objects from a distance—you’ll navigate eerie environments, solve intricate puzzles, and evade capture while unraveling the factory’s grim secrets. Developed by MOB Games, the first chapter launched on Steam in October 2021, followed by mobile ports in March 2022. Chapter 2 arrived in May 2022 for PC, with Chapter 3 slated for early 2023 as downloadable content. Initial praise for its tense gameplay shifted to criticism following the controversial introduction of NFTs, while Chapter 2’s bug-ridden release further divided players.
