Description
Released in 2013, *Frozen* is an animated musical fantasy adventure crafted by Walt Disney Animation Studios, marking the studio’s 53rd feature film. Loosely drawing inspiration from Hans Christian Andersen’s *The Snow Queen*, the story follows the daring journey of a young princess who teams up with a rugged mountain guide, his steadfast reindeer, and an endearingly clueless snowman to reunite with her isolated sister. Unbeknownst to the kingdom, the sister’s uncontrollable ice magic has plunged their homeland into an unending winter. The project evolved through multiple iterations before officially launching in 2011, with Jennifer Lee spearheading the screenplay and co-directing alongside Chris Buck. The voice cast showcases vocal performances by Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad, and Santino Fontana, bringing the characters to life. Christophe Beck composed the sweeping orchestral score, complemented by original songs penned by husband-and-wife duo Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.
