Description
The boy darts forward, eyes locked on the bound man struggling against coarse ropes in the shadowed corner. Time’s slipping—swipe your finger fast to slice through the restraints, but watch the jagged debris underfoot and those creeping tendrils of smoke coiling from the walls. Don’t let the boy stumble; weave him around rusted spikes jutting from the floor, duck under sagging beams ready to snap. The ropes fray with each precise cut—one wrong move and the knots tighten. Keep momentum: a flick to the left dodges falling chains, a sharp zag avoids the collapsing ceiling tiles. The man’s muffled cries grow urgent—ignore the stinging heat searing through the room, ignore the creeping vines snatching at the boy’s ankles. Final rope—slash diagonal, hard and clean. The man crumples free, gasping. Grab his arm, pull him toward the shuddering door before the walls cave. Go—*now*—before the flames swallow everything.
