She couldn’t decide, flipping through flash sheets until Zoe pulled out a vintage locket design, hollow in the center. “Fill it later,” she said, “when you’ve got a story worth trapping in there.” Needles hummed, stencils faded, and by closing, all three left with skin stories they’d wear like secrets.
