Alright, let's get a good look at these two. First glance, they seem identical, but I know better than that. My eye goes to the clock on the wall behind the main subject. In the first photo, the time is clearly 2:10, but in the second one, the minute hand has jumped ahead; it's unmistakably reading 2:12. Now, look at the reflection in the window. The first shot shows a clear, empty street reflected, but the second one has a blur, like someone was walking by just as the picture was taken—a dark coat, maybe. The subject’s jacket is also different. In the left photo, the top button is fastened, but on the right, it’s undone. Finally, the plant on the desk. A leaf is bent at a different angle in each shot. Someone moved between these two photos. They’re close, but they’re not the same.
