Control

Depending on the number of participants, each player receives either seven dominoes in a two-player game or six dominoes when three or four players join, with all tiles kept face-down to conceal their values during distribution. The remaining dominoes form a shared reserve known as the pickaxe, available for players to draw from as needed throughout the game.

Description

The domino game begins with the player holding the highest double—ideally double six—or the next strongest double if no one possesses it. The following player must connect a domino with matching pips on at least one end of the existing chain. Victory is achieved by emptying one’s hand first. Should the game stall with no legal moves remaining, the winner is determined by the lowest total of remaining pips across all held dominoes.
